Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor in Cave Creek, AZ to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires. You will mentor the squad, ensure guest experiences are outstanding, and uphold MOD standards across the shift.

You will flex to restaurant needs, sometimes leading and sometimes doing, while keeping the MOD experience at the forefront of every action.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring or leading others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and coach using established processes with compassion.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start date or as required by law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Available to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure a welcoming, smooth operation and uphold MOD standards.
• Train new hires and support rollout of new programs.
• Maintain operations including online ordering, catering, fundraising, and review systems.
• Ensure food safety across Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad and guest concerns; escalate to AM/GM when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as directed by the GM.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet shift requirements.
• Monitor and communicate information from Slice to the squad.
