Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is hiring a Restaurant Shift Supervisor in Buda, TX to lead operations during scheduled shifts, mentor new hires, and uphold MOD standards. You’ll deploy the squad, train staff, ensure food safety, manage cash, handle inventory, and keep guests satisfied while delivering the MOD experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work at least 18 hours weekly with 3 shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Follow and coach to processes with compassion.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place to support guests.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed.
• Adhere to shift checklists and execute requirements on time.
• Review email for updates from Slice and other sources.
