Job summary

Krystal Restaurant in Shelbyville, TN is seeking a Shift Leader to support the store management team in daily operations, including food prep, customer service, and safety standards. You will coach and develop A+ talent to achieve results in People, Customer, Sales and Profit.

Responsibilities include training, implementing performance management, resolving customer issues, ensuring food safety, and contributing to marketing and profitability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• ServSafe certification a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with one (1) or more years of restaurant management experience.
• Systems & Software – proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnight, & weekends.
• May be required to travel to other locations, e.g. other stores, bank, meetings as business dictates

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Krystal Core Values while assisting the management team in training, retaining and recognizing A+ talent.
• Partners with the management team to execute the Performance Management process consistently.
• Drives customer-focused culture by resolving issues and training staff to meet service standards.
• Coaches and holds shifts accountable around operational procedures via the OSM and Company systems.
• Ensures food safety standards are met during shifts.
• Partners with the management team to ensure restaurant level plans and marketing initiatives are in place.
• Executes cash/security, inventory, labor and food control procedures during shifts
