Job summary

Krystal Restaurant is seeking a Shift Leader to support the store management team in daily operations, uphold Krystal’s brand values, and coach A+ talent to achieve key results in People, Customer, Sales and Profit.

The role requires leading by example to ensure food safety, customer satisfaction and financial accountability across shifts. Flexibility in scheduling and a ServSafe-oriented mindset are important for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• ServSafe certification a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with one or more years of restaurant management experience.
• Systems & Software – proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnight, weekends.
• May be required to travel to other locations, e.g. other stores, bank, meetings as business dictates

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Krystal Core Values while assisting management in training, retaining and recognizing A+ talent.
• Partner with the management team to execute Performance Management processes.
• Drive customer-focused culture by modeling service standards and resolving issues.
• Coach and hold shift teams accountable around core operational procedures using Krystal systems.
• Execute cash/security, inventory, labor and food control procedures during shifts.
