Job summary

The Shift Leader at Krystal in Tennessee leads daily restaurant operations in collaboration with the management team. You’ll role model the brand values, coach A+ talent, and maintain standards in service, food safety, and financial controls while supporting customer satisfaction and team development.

Ideal candidates are 21+, with ServSafe certification and at least some restaurant experience; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and flexibility to work various shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Servsafe certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with one (1) or more years restaurant experience.
• Systems & Software - proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnights, & weekends.
• May be required to travel to other locations, e.g. other stores, bank, meetings as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• The Shift Leader supports the store management team’s daily operations and coaches A+ talent to achieve results.
• Assists with training and performance management to ensure success and accountability.
• Drives customer-focused culture, trains employees to meet service standards, and resolves issues.
• Ensures food safety standards are met and oversees shift operations.
• Partners with the management team to implement marketing initiatives and store plans.
• Executes cash/security, inventory, labor and food control procedures during shifts.
