Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Ohio is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise daily operations across 1st-3rd shifts. The role centers on delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience and ensuring safe, efficient store operations.

You will oversee guest services, cash handling, stocking, and equipment use while complying with company policies. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, able to lift and move items, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must speak, hear and understand English well enough to communicate with customers.
• Must see well enough to operate POS, gas console and store equipment.
• Must understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Must be able to prepare DipSide items from dip cabinets.
• Must handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps and make change.
• Must count and perform arithmetic accurately for required records.
• Must move merchandise to shelves/displays/freezers and maintain proper display.
• Must tolerate temperatures down to –30°F for at least 2 minutes and to +33°F for at least 10 minutes.
• Must lift at least 10 pounds from floor to 5 feet.
• Must place an 8×10×10 inch package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience to every Guest.
• Prepare shakes, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• Operate POS system and gas console; process transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves, displays, dip cabinet and freezers; rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain store and parking lot in a safe, clean condition.
• Complete time records and Customer First Documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
