Job summary

El Pollo Loco is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts and act in the absence of the General Manager. You will drive exceptional guest experiences, lead the crew, and ensure adherence to EPL standards, safety, and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, inventory coordination, training, cash handling, and maintaining speed and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during shifts and in the GM/AGM absence.
• Ensure service excellence and adherence to safety and QSC standards.
• Train and support team on new products and procedures.
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and shift resources.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to ensure satisfaction.
