El Pollo Loco, Inc. is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team during shifts and ensure exceptional service and smooth operations. You will drive fast, fire-grilled experiences for guests while growing as a leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsibilities

• Open and close restaurant procedures; coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep, and cleaning.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet company goals and standards; maintain restaurant cleanliness according to EPL and health code safety standards.
• Prioritize team tasks during shift; adjust staffing based on sales volume for productivity.
• Train and support team members on new products and operational procedures.
• Manage cash registers, deposits, audits, and cash handling; comply with procedures while on shift.
• Greet customers and assist with orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.
