Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced restaurant team and ensure top-quality sandwiches and customer service. You’ll supervise, develop associates, and help manage costs during each shift.

Requirements include at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, and food safety certification. Eligible to work 18+, you’ll thrive in a lively environment and communicate effectively with customers and team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must meet state Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks efficiently.
• Ensure security procedures and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count drawers and manage daily cash handling procedures.
• Prepare quality finished products and maintain health and safety standards.
• Address customer complaints and run daily operations as needed.
