Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a shift by managing and developing associates to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service, while driving sales and controlling costs for each shift. You must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.

You must pass a Food Safety Certification, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, including efficient assignment of tasks while providing feedback.
• Ensure all security procedures are followed.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.).
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Operate cash register and handle cash procedures.
• Handle customer complaints/issues with professionalism.
