Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise a fast-paced team, maintain product quality and customer service, and manage daily shift costs and operations.

You must be 18+, with 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, and pass a Food Safety Certification. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to thrive in a bustling kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain Food Safety Certification.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Comfortable in a bustling kitchen and able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assign tasks, and provide feedback.
• Ensure security procedures and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count drawers and handle cash procedures.
• Prepare finished products efficiently and maintain health and safety standards.
• Restock food lines and supplies; clean work areas and utensils.
• Operate cash register and address customer complaints.
• Other duties as assigned.
