Job summary

El Pollo Loco, Inc. in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations and ensure fast, friendly service. You’ll open/close the restaurant, supervise crew, manage cash and inventory, train teammates, and uphold health, safety, and QSC standards while delivering a great guest experience.

Flex scheduling is offered with full- or part-time hours; no overnight shifts; employees receive meal benefits, discounts, and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; EPL SPECS certification or 1+ year supervisory experience and pass EPL FSA after hire.
• Able to pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.
• Flexible scheduling: full-time or part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening/closing procedures and coordinate crew tasks.
• Ensure service speed, cleanliness, and QSC standards.
• Manage shift staffing and breaks.
• Train team on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash/registers and deposits during shifts.
• Greet customers and assist with orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
