El Pollo Loco, Inc. is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced team and deliver consistent guest experiences. You’ll oversee daily operations, train teammates, handle opening/closing, and ensure safety and quality standards during your shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ year restaurant supervisory experience and pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures, coordinate tasks for setup, food prep, and cleaning; conduct inventory checks and update records.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet goals; maintain cleanliness and safety per standards.
• Prioritize tasks, manage break policies, adjust staffing based on sales; monitor and adjust food production with Area Leader guidance.
• Train and support team members on new products and procedures.
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and audits; ensure compliance with procedures while on shift.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to enhance satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.
