Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Shift Leader in the United States to guide a fast-paced team and ensure top product quality and customer service while managing costs per shift.

You will lead, develop associates, uphold food safety standards, and manage cash handling in a bustling kitchen. Must be 18+, with 1 year supervisory experience and Food Safety certification; flexible scheduling applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must meet all Food Safety requirements and obtain certification.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks with feedback.
• Count drawers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, and other items efficiently.
• Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Restock stations and handle customer complaints gracefully.
• Operate cash register and balance cash.
• Other duties as assigned.
