Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is hiring a Shift Leader to manage shifts, develop associates, and drive product quality and customer service. You will lead a team in a fast-paced environment while controlling costs and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

We seek individuals 18+, with supervisory experience in food service preferred, who can handle allergens and maintain a friendly, customer-first mindset showing strong communication skills. Benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
• Must meet state Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assigning tasks and providing feedback.
• Ensure security procedures and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count drawers and manage daily cash handling processes.
• Prepare quality finished products and maintain food safety standards.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
