Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced shift, supervise team members, and uphold quality and customer service standards. You will lead by example, manage tasks and cash handling, and ensure food safety compliance while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.

Ideal candidates bring at least a year of supervisory restaurant/retail experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-first attitude. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assigning tasks and providing feedback.
• Manage shift operations to ensure product quality and customer service.
• Handle cash, counts drawers, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Prepare quality finished products and maintain health and safety standards.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
