Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a friendly Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced team and ensure great product quality and customer service. You will lead a shift, develop associates, and manage costs while upholding Potbelly values.

The role requires 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, food safety certification, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive pay with benefits available.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in restaurant or retail.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems and handle allergen concerns safely.
• Comfortable in a bustling kitchen; knife skills a plus.
• Must stand/walk 8-9 hours; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks with feedback.
• Ensure security and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count cash drawers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Prepare quality finished products efficiently.
• Maintain health and safety standards for food and cleanliness.
• Restock food lines, chips, and coolers.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
