Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead and motivate a fast-paced team on your shift. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage daily store operations, and coach team members to meet RaceTrac’s service and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service, with at least 1 year of leadership experience. This role offers a path to growth within a dynamic, people-first environment and requires a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to coach others and provide clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Guest greets and interacts with guests, suggests products to enhance experience.
• Manages store operations on designated shifts.
• Maintains inventory in a neat and organized manner.
• Provides prompt, efficient and courteous service.
• Fosters positive relationships with co-workers and guests.
• Oversees safety and cleanliness standards.
• Rings up guests and ensures store is clean and well maintained.
