RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, set the tone for excellent guest service, and drive daily operations. You’ll coach staff, ensure food safety and cleanliness, manage inventory and cash handling, and communicate effectively with leadership to maintain high performance.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail/food service with 1+ year of supervisory experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset to develop future leaders in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet service, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift-change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Relay important updates from leadership to shift associates and monitor task completion.
