Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, drive guest satisfaction, and model strong operations. You’ll guide food service, stocking, and cash handling while coaching teammates to achieve high standards and results.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service, with 1+ years in a supervisory role and a high school diploma or GED. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.
• Ability to coach others to follow through on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift and set a cheerful, can-do tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time to improve performance and service.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train the team to meet food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift-change communication and keep team aligned.
