Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a store team on your shift, drive guest satisfaction, and maintain store standards. You’ll motivate, coach, and direct team members to deliver rapid service and a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include training, inventory oversight, and ensuring compliance with food safety and company policies. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2–3 years of relevant work experience and 1+ years in leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to coach others and maintain task focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift and set a cheerful, can-do tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and guide store team to meet guest service and food-safety standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and align the team throughout the day.
