RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead on‑shift teams, drive guest satisfaction, and maintain store operations. You will coach staff, manage tasks, and ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are followed while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail/restaurant/food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Willingness to obtain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift and set a cheerful, can‑do tone.
• Coach team members in real time and provide guidance.
• Oversee store processes including inventory, cash wrap, and compliance.
• Ensure guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Communicate updates from leadership to shift associates and ensure alignment.
