Job summary

Potbelly is seeking a Shift Leader/Manager to supervise and develop associates across shifts, ensuring top quality food and customer service. You will lead line operations, manage opening/closing duties, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, a high school diploma, and must obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Must have High School degree or equivalent.
• Shift Leaders/Managers must pass a Food Safety Certification course.

Responsibilities

• Lead Associates on shifts, assign tasks, provide feedback and training.
• Manage line, delegate duties, and uphold product quality standards.
• Promote sales by executing the marketing plan within the restaurant walls.
• Ensure cash handling, labor, waste and costs are controlled on shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
