Job summary

Dunkin' Donuts franchise is seeking a Shift Leader to coach Crew Members and ensure operational standards while delivering a great guest experience. You will set goals, assign tasks, and motivate the team through feedback and recognition during each shift.

In this fast-paced environment, you’ll deploy team members to meet service standards, assist with training, and uphold restaurant safety and cost controls under the direction of the General Manager. Join our winning team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to fluently speak/read English.
• Math and writing skills.
• Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Guest Focus – anticipate and understand guests’ needs and exceed their expectations.

• Problem Solving and Decision Making – make good decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coach Crew Members to follow shift plans, provide feedback and recognize achievements.
• Deploy team members to meet guests’ needs and service standards during shifts.
• Support training of Crew Members as directed by General Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Communicate goals and hold team members accountable for performance during shift.
• Hold guests as highest priority and model exceptional guest service.
• Drive urgency through Crew Members to satisfy guests’ needs and resolve problems.
• Reinforce use of systems, tools, and procedures throughout shift and correct deficiencies.
• Monitor team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are executed during shift.
• Follow systems to control labor costs, food costs, and cash during shift.
• Monitor crew compliance with policies on cleanliness, food safety, and safety.
• Report equipment issues and discuss opportunities with General Manager.
• Comply with all restaurant, Brand, and franchisee policies.
