Potbelly Sandwich Shop is hiring a Shift Leader to manage a busy shift with a focus on product quality and customer service. You will lead associates, train staff, and ensure standards while controlling costs per shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
• Food Safety Certification required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage allergens (peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, shellfish)
• Able to stand/walk 8-9 hours and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks while providing feedback
• Ensure security procedures are followed
• Maintain back-of-house standards and cleanliness
• Count drawers and handle cash according to procedures
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts)
• Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met
• Restock food line, chips and coolers
• Handle customer complaints professionally
• Other duties as assigned
