Job summary

Potbelly is hiring a Shift Leader to manage a fast-paced restaurant team in a field shop setting. You will lead shifts, train associates, and ensure food quality and customer service while controlling costs and upholding Potbelly standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment, a High School diploma, and completion of a Food Safety Certification. You’ll earn up to $18.50 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail.
• High School diploma required.
• Must pass a Food Safety Certification course (ServSafe/NRF/Prometric).
• Ability to work opening and/or closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead associates on shifts, delegate tasks and provide feedback.
• Ensure product quality and customer service standards.
• Promote sales and manage labor costs on shift.
