Job summary

Zaxbys is expanding, and the Shift Leader will oversee product, process, and people for each shift, with supervisory decision-making power. You’ll train, coach, and develop team members while ensuring safety, quality, and guest satisfaction to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include planning shift duties, managing inventory, and collaborating with management to drive goals, all within a friendly, fast-paced restaurant environment in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgments and decisions which align with company standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of high-performance and train and coach team members to meet all company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to your General Manager.
• Prioritize the guest and team member experience and resolve complaints and concerns in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example.
• Communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet goals and perform to their highest ability level.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing duties are complete.
• Collaborate with management team to develop goals and report back to management on goal progress.
• Ensure processes, policies, and procedures are properly followed throughout daily operations.
