Job summary

Zax LLC, headquartered in Statesboro, Georgia, is expanding its Zaxbys operation and invites you to join as Shift Leader. You’ll oversee the shift’s product, process, and people, train staff, and respond to guest concerns while driving high performance and achievement of benchmarks.

You will lead with a servant‑leader mindset, coach team members, enforce standards, and ensure safety and quality across all shifts. Flexible schedules and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week.
• Full‑time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgements and decisions which align with company standards and values.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of high‑performance and train and coach team members to meet all company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to your General Manager.
• Prioritize the guest and team member experience and resolve complaints and concerns in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example.
• Communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet goals and perform to their highest ability level.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxby’s Franchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing duties are complete.
