Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. in Cary, NC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentor new hires, and implement program rollouts while modeling MOD’s purpose.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards; coach in a compassionate manner.
• Ability to be a calming presence during high volume periods.
• Must obtain a food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date or as required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift, ensure the right squad member is in the right place and performing duties (deployment).
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, and review systems).
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns, escalate to AM/GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and processing refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as required by the GM.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to execute tasks timely.
• Stay informed via email for updates from Slice and other sources.
