Job summary

Thorntons is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee store operations on assigned shifts, ensuring safety, accuracy, and excellent guest service. The role involves coaching teammates, managing inventory and cash procedures, and training new hires to uphold Thorntons’ standards.

The shift leader will work multiple shifts, coordinate with store leadership, and foster a welcoming environment while ensuring compliance with all policies. Weekly pay and benefits are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Certifications preferred.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the responsible leader on shift when the Store Manager is absent.
• Deliver guest service with a “how may I help you” attitude and delight guests.
• Practice safe working habits and report safety problems to management.
• Follow cash handling procedures and document variances.
• Maintain stocked, clean shelves and areas and assist in training new team members.
