Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, and operations. This role will take on shift management in absence of leadership and is open to bilingual candidates who can contribute to a diverse customer base.

Key responsibilities include leading team members in service programs, resolving returns and purchases, and ensuring accurate invoicing and safe cash handling. Growth opportunities abound within our store network.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Spanish language ability is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy adherence.
• Answer telephones according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and document accordingly.
• Manage returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor schedules, approve deviations, and ensure proper clocking in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties, secure deposits, and verify money handling.
• Complete day-end procedures and secure the store and deliveries.
