Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in their absence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish highly desired.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.
• Oversee customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Process buy online/ship to store orders, transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds with correct payment methods; stage returned merchandise.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks; ensure compliance with schedules.
