Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in managers’ absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position focuses on delivering excellent customer service to both retail and professional customers while ensuring efficient order processing, returns handling, and daily store procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities encouraged.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification or equivalent credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to programs.
• Answer telephone according to policy and standards.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store orders promptly and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and in compliance with procedures.
• Manage returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follow posted schedules, clock in/out correctly, and assist with opening/closing duties.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
