Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in the absence of leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team adherence to service programs.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the outside purchase ledger.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed promptly with accurate refunds.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor work schedules and ensure proper clock in/out and adherence to policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures, verify money/deposits, and secure the store.
• All other duties as assigned.
