Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management duties when managers are absent.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and enforce service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers in a timely manner; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedures.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedule; manage clock-ins/outs and deviations.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, banking as needed, and secure premises.
• All other duties as assigned.
