Job summary

Thorntons is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee store operations during times when the Store Manager is absent. You will lead a team, ensure cash handling accuracy, maintain inventory levels, and train new team members while upholding food safety standards.

You will work multiple shifts, coach staff, and ensure guest satisfaction with a welcoming, efficient service approach. Weekly pay and benefits are included as part of Thorntons’ team-oriented program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Food handling certifications are preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced store environment is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift leader when Store/General Manager is absent and assign work.
• Deliver guest service with a ’how may I help you’ attitude.
• Practice safe working habits and report safety problems.
• Maintain cash handling and inventory procedures; monitor discrepancies.
• Train new team members and provide coaching during shifts.
