Job summary

Taco Bell in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Shift Lead to drive daily operations, coach team members, and resolve guest concerns. You will lead shifts with energy, maintaining food safety, quality, and speed while ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to company standards.

You will collaborate with the GM on labor, inventory, and training, promoting Taco Bell's culture and values in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity required (ability to move up to 45 lbs).
• Attendance and punctuality a must.
• Operating of cash register as needed and making change for other cashiers.
• Basic Math skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly, maintaining positive customer relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the GM to achieve resolution.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed.
