Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Possesses PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness of floor and stock room.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change as requested.
• Delivers a distinctive customer experience and supports service traits across Walgreens.
• Engages customers, greets and offers assistance with products and services, and resolves issues.
• Models customer service best practices and supports team members in delivering exceptional service.
• Maintains accurate inventory and price changes, and ensures proper signage and compliance with local regulations.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, backdoor access, and reverse logistics as needed.
• Supports merchandising and displays, and ensures stock rotates using FIFO methods.
• Performs basic bookkeeping tasks and helps with store maintenance and cleanliness.
