Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate with leadership experience to open/close the store in management's absence, handle cash, and deliver a great customer experience. The role involves engaging customers, assisting with vendor deliveries, managing inventory, and ensuring price accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The position requires at least one year in a supervisory/retail key holder role, fluent English, and, where applicable, PTCB certification or pharmacy licensing.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains inventory counts and ensures accurate pricing and signage.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and ledgers.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws regarding regulated products.
