Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a diligent Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards across all operations. You will train new team members, manage cash handling, and oversee daily procedures in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

The role requires standing for extended periods, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and a focus on food safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all company policies.
• Notify plaza leadership of observations or problems.
