Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a proactive Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, assure top-level customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety policies. The role includes training new hires and monitoring cash handling compliance.

The position requires standing for extended periods, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays. Join a fast-paced, customer-focused team at multiple plaza locations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists as per policy.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temp checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Report observations or problems to plaza leadership.
• Execute various other tasks as assigned.
