Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift team members, ensure outstanding customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new hires and monitor cash handling policies, while maintaining operations to meet daily goals.

Ideal candidates have cash handling and customer service experience, prior leadership, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures and product safety.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
