Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to lead on‑shift teams and ensure top‑notch customer service across our travel plazas. You will train new staff, enforce cash handling policies, and uphold brand standards and food safety guidelines.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, flexible scheduling, and a proactive approach to maintaining high service levels for travelers at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervision or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards.
