Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store team member to open/close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure readiness for the business day. You will assist with inventory, pricing, and displays while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and support the pharmacy/out window as needed, maintaining store cleanliness and compliance with policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and cash drops to the safe, providing change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and assists with products and services to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing signage, and supports backroom operations and displays.
• Open and close store keys and assist with warehouse and vendor deliveries as needed.
• Record sales on registers, monitor scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Support displays, sets up promotions, and resets shelves as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts across departments and stockroom.
• Ensure compliance with pricing, signage, and local regulations.
