Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, manage cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for daily business. You will assist with returns, refunds, and keeping accurate records at the registers.

In this role you will engage customers, model service best practices, and help build a friendly, efficient shopping experience while maintaining store standards and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assists with inventory counts, pricing tasks, and storefront maintenance as needed.
