Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to help operate the store when management is not on duty. You will open/close the store, handle cash, process returns and refunds, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will also assist with deliveries and help maintain pricing and signage throughout the store.

You will engage customers, provide proactive service, and model Walgreens service traits to create a distinctive and delightful experience for shoppers and patients.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Looks after store keys, assists with vendor deliveries, and ensures accurate price signage and basic department pricing.
