Job summary

Family Dollar in Dothan, Alabama seeks a Third Keyholder to join our store team. You will greet customers, help with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions while supporting the Store Manager with daily tasks and inventory control.

You may assist with opening/closing, restocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and helping with asset protection. Prior retail management experience is preferred; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions using the POS.
• Assist Store Manager with daily activities, inventory, deliveries, stock replenishment, and store appearance.
• Open or close the store in the absence of Store Manager or Asst. Store Manager; supervise cash handling and deposits.
• Unload merchandise, stock shelves, and transfer merchandise from stockroom to floor.
• Support asset protection and maintain a positive image with customers and community.
