Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking a part-time Keyholder to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with merchandise selection and sales, and support store operations. The role includes opening/closing duties when managers are absent, maintaining inventory, and ensuring clean, well-stocked shelves for customers in a busy Alabama store.

The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in transactions, and helping protect assets while contributing to store performance and community

Qualifications

• Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide store team members on operating practices and procedures.
• Greet, assist and thank customers; answer questions and resolve inquiries.
• Handle situations with customer and company interests in mind.
• Suggestive selling to increase average basket and link add-on items.
• Maintain clean, stocked store and positive image with customers and community.
• Accurately handle funds and process transactions at the POS.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking shelves; transfer merchandise.
• Support asset protection and opening/closing duties in manager's absence.
• Complete all Position Based Training on time and follow company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
