Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable team member to help open and close the store in the absence of management, manage cash and sales records, and deliver a superior customer experience. The role includes assisting with vendor deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting store displays and pricing tasks.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring readiness for the business day.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with and coach team members on vendor ordering processes and backdoor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on the assigned cash register, including handling scanning errors and price changes.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and pricing tasks, including signage and local regulatory compliance.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance and store appearance, stocking and product placement.
• Support pharmacy out window and compliance with regulated products where applicable.
• Complete special assignments as requested.
