Job summary

Dutch Bros Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to uphold the store's culture and values on every shift. You will be a servant leader, guiding the crew, communicating feedback to leadership, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.

The role requires experience as a Broista, flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and a commitment to safety and customer service. You will train new Broistas and support inventory, cleanliness, and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Broista experience at Dutch Bros preferred.
• No disciplinary action for the past 90 days, required.
• Successfully completed the most recent flowcheck (90% score or better) and on time
• A prerequisite to employment is to obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit/Certification as required based on state/local regulations
• Ability to complete, pass and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests under the Dutch Bros required standards for company policies and federal, state, and/or local regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead the experience for every Broista on shift that ensures a mind-blowing experience for every customer
• Manage the shift - responsible for ensuring Broistas are prepared for any specials or promotions and have the right energy and attitude for the customer
• Train new Broistas operationally and culturally while providing a fun-loving, mind-blowing environment
• Set Broistas up for success by covering all aspects of the Manifesto during training
• Aid your Shop Manager and Shop Lead in shop inventory management, support, and other delegated duties
• Set up the next shift for success in all areas: counting tills, bank deposits, restocking products, putting inventory away, meeting cleanliness standards
• Communicate with your manager and share wins and opportunities for improvement with your shop leaders
• Be a good role model. Attend mandatory meetings, know your resources, and adhere to all company policies and procedures as laid out in the Shift Lead Field Guide and Employee Handbook
• Aid the Shop Manager and Shop Leads in Inventory
• Aid the Shop Lead and Shop Manager in ensuring shop setup and cleanliness standards are met
• Work with the Shop Lead and Shop Manager in following up with Quality Assurance inspections and accountability process
• Excellent Communicator: communicate up to leaders and set expectations with the crew on shift
• Available: you must be able to work shift lead shifts and attend culture-building events
